Get experience in your major; come to Internship/Co-op Job Fair
|
The annual Internship/Co-op Job Fair sponsored by USI Career Services and Placement will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, in the University Center’s Carter Hall. The event features over 50 employers and organizations eager to discuss internship and co-op opportunities with USI undergraduates in various majors including business, liberal arts, science, and engineering. Students who have completed one full semester at USI and are in good academic standing are eligible to apply for internship and co-op positions. Most students are eligible to receive credit for internships. Why do an internship or co-op? To give you experience in your major before you graduate so you are more marketable when seeking full-time employment. If you have a resume, bring copies to hand out to employers. If you don’t, visit the Career Services website for a sample so you can start one. Attire for the fair is semi-professional. Questions? Call the Career Services and Placement office at 812/464-1865, or visit their new offices in the lower level of the Orr Center. |
