Walk for Women's Athletics is April 15

Supporters and fans of the USI women's athletic programs will be on their feet for a second straight year to raise money in the Walk for Women's Athletics on April 15 at USI. The Walk will start at 1 p.m. and will circle campus, beginning and finishing at the USI Physical Activities Center. The money raised by each women's team will go to that specific team with coaches directing the dollars into programs that fit team needs. Additional funds raised by the Walk for Women's Athletics will be spent on special projects for the women's programs. In the fall of the 2005-06 year, 250 Walk participants raised more than $15,000 for USI women's athletics. T-shirts will be given to participants who donate $25 or more.
