Final summer reading series play

The New Harmony Theatre presents the last in its summer play reading series. Ingmar Berman’s Nora will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 1 in the Mallette Studio Theatre in the Liberal Arts Center at USI. Tickets are $10.

Bergman’s stark retelling of Ibsen’s A Doll’s House lays bare the play’s hot core. This adaptation of the classic reveals Bergman at his most tender, lyrical, and impassioned.
