Local newspaper free to USI students
|
The Evansville Courier and Press is providing complimentary newspapers seven days a week through a new college readership program. Free newspapers are available in rack locations in each of the residence halls, the Residence Life Center, Rice Library, University Center, and several academic buildings on campus. Dwayne Bivona, director of circulation, said, “The Courier and Press is free of charge so we encourage students to utilize this opportunity to get informed about the community and the world they live in. We are excited to be able to offer this service to USI students. We hope it is a service utilized and enjoyed by all on campus.” The newspaper will have a campus-specific sponsorship wrap-around section that gives students access to campus information, maps and phone numbers, as well as discounts to local restaurants, entertainment venues, services, and more. |
