Nominate favorite teacher and staff

The USI Student Government Association is seeking nominations for annual awards to faculty, administration, and staff that are presented at the Student Development Awards Banquet, which will be held on April 16 this year. The awards recognize those who are especially helpful to students. The faculty award is presented for accomplishment as an educator, community involvement, and willingness to put forth extra effort to help students. Nominees may be full-time or adjunct faculty, but they must be teaching credit courses during the academic year. The Administrator of the Year award is given to a person who maintains a friendly and personal rapport with students, and the staff award is for friendliness and genuine care in helping students. Nominations must be turned in no later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, March 3 to the Dean of Students Office. Applications are available in the University Center. |
