APO to present 2008 One Act Festival

The USI chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national honorary theatre fraternity, will present its 2008 One Act Festival at 8 p.m. Friday, February 29, and Saturday, March 1, and 2 p.m. Sunday, March 2 in the Mallette Studio Theatre in the Liberal Arts Center at USI.

The one-acts to be presented include The Wedding Story, Rhapsodies, Hairum Scarum, and Auschwitz. APO One Act Festivals at USI are produced, managed, directed, and performed by students. This year, two of the one-acts were written by students. Paige Scott wrote and directed the musical, Rhapsodies. Susan Ryan wrote and directed the historical drama, Auschwitz. The other one-acts are Julianne Homokay’s The Wedding Story directed by Adam Rager and Christina Hamlett’s Hairum-Scarum directed by Monica Muller. Plays contain adult content. Tickets are $5 general admission.
