Service Learning Institute deadline is March 20

USI’s Service Learning Program and the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence will co-sponsor a Service Learning Summer Institute June 16-19, 2008 for full-time faculty and Student Affairs staff. A project description and application form can be found online. The application deadline is March 20. For more information, contact Anne Statham, director of Service Learning, at 812/465-1203.

In addition, faculty and students are invited to attend an Introduction to USI’s Service Learning Program at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, in Rice Library Room 0018. Dr. Hilary Braysmith, Dr. Michael Slavkin, Margo Walker, Dr. Marie Opatrny, Dr. Doris Mohr, Judy Wells, Matt Krevda, and Maggie Felton will discuss their service learning projects.
