Nursing students compete in annual Critical Care Challenge
|
A 10-member team from the USI nursing program competed in the annual Critical Care Challenge, besting nursing students from Ivy Tech, University of Evansville, and Henderson Community College for the trophy. This is the fourth consecutive year the USI nursing team has been named champion, and over the last dozen years, USI has received the trophy seven times. In the competition, five team members compete in the first half and five members in the second half. They answer questions about critically ill patients. Coaches for the USI team this year are nursing instructors Tracy Kinner and Marilyn Ostendorf. The challenge is sponsored by the American Associate of Critical Care Nurses, Greater Evansville chapter. |
