USI economists present I-69 Community Development Study to area mayors

Dr. Sudesh Mujumdar and Dr. Tim Schibik, economists in the College of Business, presented an I-69 Development Study to the mayors of Washington, Oakland City, and Petersburg on May 14 in Petersburg.

Commissioned through the Center for Applied Research, the study was designed to help those communities take advantage of the economic development potential associated with the construction of Interstate 69, and draws on the economic impact on similar communities as a result of highway construction.
