The Presidential and B/MD scholarships offer top Indiana students full tuition, while the Deans Scholarship extends to students from throughout the Tri-state area. With these scholarship programs, USI recruits and retains the best and brightest from the Hoosier state and the region.

USI began offering its prestigious Presidential Scholarship in 1988 in order to attract outstanding Indiana students to the University. Ten Indiana high school valedictorians and salutatorians are selected each year. The Presidential Scholarship covers tuition and housing and provides a stipend for books and board.
