Vote for the USI Scion

Voting for the USI/UE Scion Stand-Off continues through October 31. Graphic design students from USI and the University of Evansville have each designed a wrap for half of a Scion with the Vectren Community Classic basketball game as the theme. Men’s basketball teams from USI and UE meet on Saturday, November 1 in the Vectren Community Classic. The contest is sponsored by Kenny Kent Toyota and the Evansville Courier and Press. Kenny Kent Toyota will award $500 to each participating school, $500 for the school with the most votes, and $250 to the runner up. Chuck Armstrong, instructor in graphic design, said, “Our volunteer student designers created an awesome design and now we need the student body, faculty, staff, and friends to take a look for themselves and vote for the best design.” The USI design team includes Kyle Acker, Bruce Bolin, DeWayne Esson, Lucas Holloway, Richard Krocker, Judy Marion, Jonathan Patterson, Heather Utley, Zach Willett, and Nathan Witmer. Voting for the Scion Stand-Off will end at noon on October 31 and the results will be announced at the Vectren Community Classic basketball game on November 1.
