SABIC CFO is College of Business Executive in Residence
Tim Stonesifer, the USI College of Business’s 2008 Executive in Residence, will give two presentations, one at 9 a.m. and another at 11 a.m. Friday, October 24, in Carter Hall in the University Center.Stonesifer is the chief financial officer (CFO) of SABIC Innovative Plastics. SABIC Innovative Plastics, a business unit of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), was founded in September 2007 with the acquisition of GE Plastics and is headquartered in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Prior to his position with SABIC Innovative Plastics, Stonesifer served as the chief financial officer of GE Plastics, beginning in January 2007. He began his career with General Electric as a member of the Financial Management Program in 1989. A GE Corporate audit staff graduate, he has held a variety of leadership roles, including European CFO of GE Equipment Services and Manager of Finance for the Financial Services Group. He also served as GE Equipment Services’ Interim European CEO. Stonesifer earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan in 1989.
