Liberal Arts Recital Series features concert pianist Nino Cocciarella
Concert pianist Nino Cocciarella is the guest artist in the next performance of the College of Liberal Arts Recital Series. The recital is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, October 23, in the second floor reading room of the David L. Rice Library. Cocciarella, a native of Evansville, is internationally recognized for his musical achievement. He completed his studies at the Indiana University School of Music as a student of Menahem Pressler and Edward Auer. He has been recognized in competition prizes which include the Best Solo Performance Award in the Corpus Christi International Competition, first prizes in the Music Teachers' National Association piano competition, the National Foundation for Advancement of the Arts music competition, the National Society of Arts and Letters Competition, the Indianapolis Concerto Competition, and the IU Concerto Competition.
