Free investment seminar offered at USI on Tuesday, November 4

The University of Southern Indiana’s College of Business and the Evansville office of Smith Barney will host a free investment seminar by Carmen Palladino, director of equity structured products for Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, in David L. Rice Library Room 0017. Topics to be discussed during the seminar, “The Use of Derivatives in Portfolio Protection and Recovery Strategies,” include principal protected notes; ELKS, LASERS, PACERS, and buffer notes; stock market upturn notes and strategic market access notes; and financial career advice. The seminar is open to the public as well as USI students and employees. Palladino advises Smith Barney and Citigroup Financial Consultants and their customers in the use of derivatives. He travels throughout the Smith Barney and Citibank branch system giving seminars and presentations. Seating is limited.
