Resident students are encouraged to attend “Hoops-A-Palooza,” a competition between USI’s apartments and residence halls, during the home basketball game against the University of Saint Francis Cougars on Saturday, November 22.

The area that gets the most residents at the game will win a pizza party immediately after the game with members of the men’s and women’s basketball teams, basketball coaches, and Archibald Eagle. The winning area also will be awarded an additional $200 in area funds. The winner will be announced during half-time of the men’s game.

The event is meant to inspire residents living on campus to come out and show their USI spirit. It’s sponsored by the Student Housing Association, Residence Hall Community Council, and Athletics.

For more information, contact area coordinators Ziena Clarkson Miller at ncmiller@usi.edu or Kourtney Eastham at kbeastham@usi.edu.
