Learn how to “change the world from your bedroom”

The University of Southern Indiana’s Newman Ministry, Catholic Charities, Christian Family Movement, and Community Marriage Builders will present “Changing the World from Your Bedroom? Marriage: Where Love and Life Transform the World,” from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, in Carter Hall in the University Center. The keynote speaker is David Blankenhorn, president of the Institute for American Values. The panel includes Dr. Vince Bertram, superintendent of the Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation, the Rev. William W. Simmons, pastor at Progressive Holy Temple, and Vanderburgh County Sheriff Eric Williams. Randy Moore of Fox 7 WTVW will be master of ceremonies. Blankenhorn will talk about the importance of marriage and the panel will discuss the topic from a community, school, and criminal justice perspective. A question and answer period will follow.
