International Club Food Expo: Time for a world of food and entertainment
 Tickets are on sale now for the International Club’s annual Food Expo, one of USI’s most popular events, to be held Friday, February 20. Sponsored by the International Club and International Programs and Services, the Food Expo features delicious food, beautiful costumes, and artifacts from 21 countries. Sample the delicious Gallo Pinto while you learn about the traditions of Costa Rica. Enjoy Kabsa while USI’s Saudi students write your name in Arabic. Or fill your plate with goodies from around the world and sit down to enjoy the ongoing entertainment, such as Vietnamese dancing or the international fashion show. The Food Expo will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Carter Hall in the University Center. Outside of Carter Hall, Religious Life staff will sell fair trade handcrafts from Work of Human Hands, a program of Catholic Relief Services and SERVV International. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, and $5 for children age 5 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the Office of International Programs and Services, Room 017 in the lower level of the University Center; at the University Center Information Desk from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. February 11-13 and 16-18; or at the door. The event is open to the community. Children from area schools will be visiting the Food Expo from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The Food Expo is the culmination of International Week, February 16-20. Other International Week events include the Around the World Photo Contest and Where in the World is Archibald Eagle Photo Trivia Contest throughout the week; International Career Day at 4 p.m. Tuesday, February 17, in University Center Room 201; and Global Community Native American Culture Night at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, in the Ruston Hall Multipurpose Room.
