Armeanu presents Liberal Arts Faculty Colloquium
Dr. Oana I. Armeanu, assistant professor of political science, will present the Liberal Arts Faculty Colloquium, “Experimenting with Pension Reform in Central and Eastern Europe: Political Parties, Coalitions, and Policies,” from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, February 27, in Kleymeyer Hall in the Liberal Arts Center.The talk is based on Armeanu’s manuscript, currently under consideration by Palgrave Macmillan press, analyzing the politics of pension reform during the post-communist transition in Central and Eastern Europe. Other speakers for spring 2009 are: • Dr. Michael Strezewski, assistant professor of anthropology, Friday, March 20. • Dr. Charles Conaway, assistant professor of English, Friday, April 24. All presentations will be held from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Kleymeyer Hall.
