Temporary entrance to UC created

The main entrance to the University Center has been closed and a temporary entrance has been created on the north wall of the building (facing the Wright Administration Building and Orr Center). Starting Monday, May 18, workers will begin to demolish the University Conference Center (“The Bridge”). As of today there is no access between the University Center and the expansion site (the former library). The temporary entrance will serve the University Center for the rest of the summer, and perhaps into fall. “Hopefully that main entrance will be open by the fall semester, but that is weather-dependent,” said Fred Kalvelage, USI construction manager.
