Phi Alpha inducts new members

Eighteen students have been inducted into the USI Phi Alpha National Honor Society. The Phi Alpha National Honor Society is a highly selective honor society for students pursuing a Master of Social Work degree or a Bachelor of Social Work degree. To become a member of the USI Phi Alpha National Honor Society, students in the Master of Social Work program must have completed 12 hours or more of social work classes and have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. The following students in the Master of Social Work program have been inducted into the USI Phi Alpha National Honor Society: Bobbie D. Cuffle, West Terre Haute, IN Tina M. Gantz, Demotte, IN Andrea D. Harrawood, Evansville, IN Susan M. Hunt, Princeton, IN Kathryn L. Kornblum, Evansville, IN Gwen A. Shelton, Owensboro, KY Ann L. Smith, Evansville, IN Kyla M. Vaught, Evansville, IN Students in the Bachelor of Social Work program must be in junior or senior standing, completed at least nine hours in social work at USI, and have an overall GPA of 3.5 or higher. The following students in the Bachelor of Social Work program have been inducted into the USI Phi Alpha National Honor Society: Dana L.
