Alumni Association hosts family-friendly picnics

The USI Alumni Association will host its annual Alumni Picnic from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 7, on the Physical Activities Center (PAC) lawn. All alumni and friends of the University are welcome. The emphasis is on family with children's games, clowns, a magician, a petting zoo, and an inflatable obstacle course. The menu includes barbecue chicken, Italian sausages, hot dogs, potato salad, cole slaw, potato chips, ice cream sundaes, and cookies. Picnic admission is $6 per person. Children 12 and under are free. The Alumni Association also will host a picnic for Saint Louis alumni and their families from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 14, at Forest Park Picnic Pavilion #2 on Concourse Drive, Saint Louis. Other family activities in Forest Park include a free Shakespeare in the Park performance at 8 p.m., the St. Louis Zoo, Missouri History Museum, St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis Science Center, Norman K. Probstein Golf Course, Boat House, Softball fields, and bicycle rentals. Make reservations by June 10.
