Assistant dean named in the Bower-Suhrheinrich College of Education and Human Services
Dr. Thomas D. Bordelon, associate professor of social work, has been named assistant dean for the Bower-Suhrheinrich College of Education and Human Services at the University of Southern Indiana, effective July 1."Dr. Bordelon's expertise in the area of program evaluation and service learning and his years of experience as an outstanding teacher will be of considerable value in the role of assistant dean," said Dr. Julie Edmister, dean of the college. Dr. Bordelon joined USI in 2002. He holds a master's degree in social work from Tulane University and a doctorate in higher education from Montana State University. He previously served as the director of Social Work at Minot State University and the coordinator of the Child Welfare Program at Northern Kentucky University.
