Fall meeting offers opportunity to help plan USI's future

Wendy Knipe Bredhold Media Relations Specialist, News & Information Services 812/461-5259 For years the meeting has been facilitated by Dr. Linda Bennett in her former post as provost and vice president for Academic Affairs. This year's meeting will be conducted by Dr. Nadine Coudret, interim provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, while Bennett will welcome faculty and staff as USI's third president. The fall meeting starts at 8:15 a.m. in Carter Hall. All new faculty and administrators should sit in the special section reserved for them in the front right section. Before the meeting, at 7:45 a.m., coffee and rolls will be available on the UC concourse during the USI Resource Fair. A variety of departments from throughout the campus will distribute information about their services and programs. Immediately after the meeting, from 10:15 to 11:30 a.m., faculty and administrative staff will meet in breakout sessions as part of a strategic planning initiative for the University. Support staff will participate in afternoon sessions, and sessions also will be offered for second- and third-shift staff. A complimentary luncheon for faculty and administrative personnel will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in The Loft and The Eagles Nest. Photography Services will offer headshots all day at the photography studio located in Publishing Services.
