Dr. Nadine Coudret, provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, requests students and employees who develop flu-like systems self-report through the Student Health Center web site, www.usi.edu/studenthealth, so incidences on campus can be monitored.

Students and employees with influenza like illness (fever, cough and/or sore throat and muscle aches) are advised to stay home and not return to class or work until their temperature stays below 100 degrees for 24 hours without the need for fever-reducing medications.

Visit www.usi.edu/emergency for a list of resources with up-to-date information about the H1N1 flu virus. This web site will have the latest H1N1 information for the campus community.
