New Harmony Gallery seeks feminist art for juried exhibition

Erika Myers-Bromwell Director of New Harmony Gallery of Comtemporary Art 812/682-3156 The exhibition, which will run February 27 through April 3, 2010, is open to artists of all media working within the genre of feminist art. The juror for the exhibition is Esther Adler, curatorial assistant in the Drawings Department at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). She was formerly with Tina Kim Fine Art in New York City and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C. Artists who work in sculpture, installation, performance, and new media are encouraged to apply. Artists are not limited by media, however, size of work must be reasonable and images/description of work must accurately depict size of work. Artists must have a current mailing address located in Indiana. There are no entry fees. The deadline for submitting work is October 1, 2009.
