Adult learners scholarship deadline is December 11

Brandi Schwartz Marketing Coordinator Outreach & Engagement 812/464-1854 To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be current USI students at least 25 years of age. Scholarship winners will receive up to $2,000 for tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses. Students who are interested in the scholarship must: -Download and complete the Adult Learner Scholarship application -Compose a 300-500 word essay -Provide a letter of recommendation from a USI faculty or staff member that supports the application for the award -Complete the electronic FAFSA and USI's Financial Aid Data Form Scholarship recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, financial need, and overall quality of their essay. A checklist of application materials can be found online at www.usi.edu/extserv/AdultScholarshipChecklist.asp. The completed application, essay, and letter of recommendation should be submitted to: Adult Learner Scholarship, Extended Services, 8600 University Blvd., Evansville, IN 47712. This is the second year for the Adult Learner Scholarship.
