United Way is funding programs and services that lead to lasting, measurable change. The United Way focuses on improving health, income, and education to build a stronger southwestern Indiana. The money that is raised here stays here to help families in Vanderburgh, Spencer, and Warrick counties. The University of Southern Indiana/United Way of Southwestern Indiana Campaign runs through November 4. USI employees received United Way campaign materials on October 26. Your money goes to 70 local programs in 33 agencies that are meeting critical needs in the community. United Way is committed to maintaining low administrative costs. Eighty-five cents of every dollar you give goes directly to services meeting critical needs of individuals and families in our community. Check out this video to learn more about the 2009 United Way Campaign. By giving to the University's campaign, you also qualify to win a variety of prizes that have been donated from local businesses.
