Erika Myers-Bromwell Director of New Harmony Gallery of Comtemporary Art 812/682-3156 During the reception the artists will be available for questions. That evening also is the New Harmony Art Stroll. "Cuatro Amigos en Armonia" consists of four artists: Dan Brawner and Roger Clayton of Nashville, Tennessee Alexis Holeman of Denver, Colorado and Griffin Norman of New Harmony. The exhibition will include collage, paintings, and illustrations by the four artists, each with distinct styles and references. The work, however, is all reminiscent of a child-like imagination. Brawner creates cartoons, characters and children's books. His characters have been turned into larger-than-life cartoon characters in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Clayton's cute paintings of our favorite furry toys remind us of our darkest childhood memories. Zoomorphism is rampant in Holeman's expressive and colorful portraits. And Norman's surrealist-inspired collages complete the exhibition with quirky characters that include comic book as well as historical references. New Harmony Gallery of Contemporary Art is located at 506 Main Street in New Harmony, Indiana, and is open from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and noon until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
