Tier 1-eligible individuals can get H1N1 vaccine on November 17
An H1N1 vaccine clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17 in the University Center on the first floor near the Multicultural Center.
Individuals in Tier 1 will be eligible for immunization. This includes:
- Health professions students and security and emergency personnel
- Healthy individuals up to age 24
- Individuals 25-64 years old with chronic health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, heart disease, and immune system disorders
- Pregnant women
- Individuals who are household contacts of or who provide care for infants under six months of age
Both the injection and the nasal spray will be available. The vaccine is free of charge. The clinic will be administered by staff from the Student Health Center and senior nursing students. Those wanting the vaccine need to show student/employee identification.
