Recreation, Fitness, and Wellness Center to host second Family Fun Night

Jennifer Theriot Administrative Associate News & Information Services 812/465-7005 Families of employees and students can participate in free activities that include basketball, volleyball, video games, pool, ping-pong, and foosball. Fitness equipment and the climbing center will be available for use. There will be family swim in the Physical Activities Center pool from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Pizza and soft drinks will be available for purchase. All families must be accompanied by a current USI student or employee with a valid Eagle Access card. Children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian, and no one under the age of 16 is permitted to use the fitness equipment. Admission is free, but all guests will be required to sign the RFWC waiver. Anyone under the age of 18 will be required have a parent or guardian signature. For those who wish to use the Climbing Center, all adults must pass the belay safety certification class before climbing. Children will be permitted to climb only with a parent who has passed the safety class. If you took the class at the previous Family Fun Night, you will not need to take it again. You also can get certification by attending regular hours at the Climbing Center prior to the next Family Fun Night. The Climbing Center is open from noon to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and noon to 6:30 p.m. Friday. Safety courses are taught every hour on the hour.
