USI Continuing Education announces spring noncredit classes

You can learn traditional Turkish paper marbling, the basics of recreational boating, or how to live debt-free in the 21st century. Want to know how to better utilize your social networking tools? Sign up for the Making Business Connections with Social Networking Sites class and learn how to effectively network and market yourself and your organization. Do you know a high school student who is preparing to take the SAT? Sign her up for a college-readiness class such as Getting Ready for the SAT, Verbal Skills for the SAT, and Math Skills for the SAT. Looking for a children's program? Check out the Saturday Art Workshop for children ages 6 through 14. Children will work with USI art students and faculty to create two- and three-dimensional artwork including collages, paintings, printmaking, sculptures, and more. Nature lovers will enjoy one of the many outdoor activities that are available. Explore USI's nature trails and learn about the trees, plants, birds, insects, and wildlife in southwest Indiana in a Walk About USI class. Or sign up for the Winter: Bluebird Trail and Bent Twig Area class and learn how local birds and animals survive the cold weather.
