A memorial vigil to honor and remember University of Southern Indiana men's basketball senior center Jeron Lewis is scheduled at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, January 19, in the Physical Activities Center. Lewis died after collapsing in the game with Kentucky Wesleyan College last Thursday. USI students, faculty and staff, alumni, fans, and anyone from the community is welcome to attend.

The program is being planned by Religious Life in Student Affairs.

The USI Foundation is partnering with Old National Bank to establish a fund to benefit Jamel Lewis, the infant son of Jeron Lewis.

Anyone who would like to contribute to help Lewis' month-old son may do so at any Old National Bank throughout the country. The USI Foundation also serves as a collection point for donations.

Checks should be made payable to Jamel Lewis Education Fund in memory of Jeron Lewis.
