Wendy Knipe Bredhold Media Relations Specialist, News & Information Services 812/461-5259 Sponsored by the Multicultural Center, the American Association of University Women, and Old National Bank, the program honors and celebrates women from all walks of life who have made contributions to diversity in the USI and Evansville communities. This year's Phenomenal Women of USI and Community Recognition Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, March 18, in the University Center's Carter Hall. The program recognizes women in the following categories: Community-at-Large, USI Graduate Student, USI Undergraduate Student, USI Faculty, USI Administrative Staff, and USI Support Staff. Community-at-large nominees and USI employee nominees must meet the following requirements: show a demonstrated impact on the lives of others in the community, serve as a role model for others in the community, and be a champion of diversity. Student nominees must meet the following criteria: possess at least a 2.25 cumulative GPA, be a currently enrolled USI student, serve as a role model for other USI students, and be a champion of diversity.
