Wendy Knipe Bredhold Media Relations Specialist, News & Information Services 812/461-5259 Gina Lang, LPN and officer manager at the Student Health Center, said that although the H1N1 outbreak appears to be waning, those who have not yet been vaccinated should still get the shot. "There's always the chance that there could be a second wave," she said. "I would absolutely recommend that they go ahead and get it if they haven't yet." The Student Health Center is a walk-in clinic - no appointment is necessary. It is located in Room 0091 in the lower level of the Health Professions Center on the north side of the USI campus. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The clinic is closed on weekends. For more information, call the Student Health Center at 812/465-1250. |
