Social Work Festival on March 5

In addition to offering continuing education hours, the festival will include exhibit tables, networking opportunities, and breakout sessions in the morning and afternoon. In addition to clinically focused workshops, attorneys will conduct sessions on prosecution and burdens of proof ethics and charging decisions and capacity, confidentiality, and competence. Other topics will be legal issues and the elderly music sculpting sand tray therapy with children, and more. Recognition awards will be given to the NASW Region 8 social worker of the year and the citizen of the year. Paul Frazer, assistant professor of social work, is coordinating the day's events.
