USI Recycle Day is Saturday

The University of Southern Indiana's Office of Housing and Residence Life will hold USI Recycle Day from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 27, on the USI campus.

The event will emphasize the concept of "Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle."

Reduce: Students will decorate light switches with an energy conservation theme.

Reuse: A yard sale will be held.

Recycle: Plastics No. 1 and No. 2, aluminum (including siding, cans, and aluminum cookware) and mixed paper will be collected.

The recycling station will be located in Parking Lot A at the entrance to campus. (Check the campus map.)

WSTO FM Hot 96 will broadcast live from the site.

The public is welcome to participate.
