Friday Night in the Forum film series opens with lush French drama

In a restored print of the most expensive film made in France up to its time, "Lola Montes," is a beautiful, lush, romantic film that tells the story of the "most scandalous woman of all time," the infamous mistress of Franz Liszt and King Ludwig of Bavaria. Others films in the series include: Fellini′s "8 1/2" –“ April 2 "Manufactured Landscapes" –“ April 9 "In the Loop" –“ April 16 "The Girl on the Bridge" –“ April 23 "Slipstream" –“ April 30 Friday Night in the Forum is sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and the Tri-State Cinema Society. Each film is shown at 7:30 p.m. in Forum I in the Wright Administration Building. Eric Braysmith, lecturer in Liberal Arts, will lead a discussion immediately following each film.
