Register your child for the Saturday Art Workshop

Children ages 6 to 14 will have an opportunity to get their creative juices flowing during a Saturday Art Workshop from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on two Saturdays, April 10 and 17, in the USI Technology Center.

Participants will work with USI art students and faculty to create two- and three- dimensional artwork, including collages, paintings, printmaking, sculptures, and more. USI elementary education and art education students are responsible for workshop instruction, with direct supervision by art education faculty.

Children will be grouped by age with a maximum of 20 per group and will display their works at the end of each session. Registration is $30 and includes supplies and lunch.

Dr. Joseph Uduehi, associate professor of art education, coordinates the workshop.
