Nashville hit-maker to lead free workshop at USI

His Grammy-nominated works have garnered four number one singles as surveyed by Billboard, 16 gold records, and 20 platinum albums with certified sales of over 30 million records. Phillips will perform some of his tunes and offer advice on the craft of commercial songwriting. Time permitting, pre-recorded original songs submitted by workshop participants will be played for a professional evaluation by Phillips. (Bring a song on CD and a typed lyric sheet.
