Enroll your child in a "Super Summer"

This summer, the USI Center for Education Services and Partnerships will offer two one-week Super Summer sessions for children Pre-K4 through 14. The program will include morning classes from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and afternoon classes from 12:30 to 3 p.m.

The first session will take place June 14-18 and will be held on the USI campus. Session two will be held July 16-20 and will take place at Fairlawn Elementary School located at 2021 S. Alvord Blvd.

Registration is $80 for each course or $75 per course when registering the same child in more than one class, or when registering two or more children at the same time. Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation students, who are eligible for the free and reduced lunch program, may enroll in sessions for $10 per course. Reduced-fee enrollments are limited.

Free lunchtime supervision will be available at each location for those enrolling in both morning and afternoon classes. Children staying for lunch must be five years or older and should bring their own nonperishable lunches and drinks during week one. The federal lunch program will provide lunch and drinks for children attending morning and afternoon classes during week two at Fairlawn Elementary School.

Week One: June 14-18 at USI

Morning classes: 9 to 11:30 a.m.
Literature Fun for the Young: grades Pre-K4's-1
It's Magic: grades 1-3
Nature Smart: grades 2-4
Scientific Kids: grades 3-5
Kids in the Kitchen: grades 4-6
Radical Robots: grades 6-9

Afternoon classes: 12:30 to 3 p.m.
Kindergarten Readiness & Review: grades K-1
Kids Create: grades 2-4
Kids in the Kitchen: grades 3-5
Media Mix: grades 4-6
The Colorful World of Chemistry: grades 6-9

Week Two: July 12 to 16 at Fairlawn Elementary School

Morning classes: 9-11:30 a.m.
In the Deep Blue Sea: PreK4's-1
It's Magic!: grades 1-3
Kids' Concoctions: grades 2-4
Cooking in the Classroom: grades 3-5
ARTimation: Integrating Art and Technology: grades 4-6
The Tech Team: grades 6-8

Afternoon classes: 12:30 to 3 p.m.
More Kindergarten Readiness & Review: grades K-1
Hands-on Art: grades 2-4
KSI Kid's Scene Investigation: grades 3-5
The Tech Team: grades 5-7
Intorduction to Drawing: grades 5-8
