You'll discover a wealth of art and crafts, from paintings, glass, sculpture, and jewelry to pottery, basketry, woodcarvings, and furniture. Artists are selected based on creativity and craftsmanship. Commercial molds, kits and commercially fabricated forms are not permitted in the show. All of the work is handmade and all of the artists will be present to talk about their artwork or demonstrate their skills. Music is an important component of the festival. Nationally-known and critically-acclaimed recording artists will share the bill with homegrown talent. At noon on Saturday, Evansville music and performance group Tales and Scales will perform, followed by the Matt Flinner Trio at 1 p.m. and Circle of Friends at 3 p.m. On Sunday, Randy Pease will perform at noon followed by Dana and Susan Robinson at 1:30 p.m. Food will be available at the festival, so spend the day or come for the weekend and enjoy the slower pace among peaceful, tree-lined streets and beautiful gardens.
