Christoph Weber, the Harmonist potter who lived and worked at the spot from 1815 to 1824, made redware pottery for the entire Harmonist community. Dr. Michael Strezewski, USI assistant professor of anthropology, has collected archival data on redware ceramic production from the Harmonist records and has written and presented several papers based on his work.
