The keynote speaker for the Convocation is Tracy Zeller '89, owner of Tracy Zeller Jewelry. Zeller graduated from USI with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. She serves on the Board of Directors of Community Marriage Builders and A Network of Evansville Women (ANEW), which presented her with the Woman of Action award in 2009. The Chamber of Commerce of Southwest Indiana named her 2009's Entrepreneur of the Year. In spring 2010, Zeller was Alumni-in-Residence for the College of Business and received the Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumni Award. All new students are expected to attend the Convocation from 9:15 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 27, in the Physical Activities Center. |
