Interim associate vice president named

Schonberger earned a B.A. degree from Bemidji State University in Minnesota and an M.A. degree from Indiana State University. He started at USI following college graduation. He has served as advisor to student organizations, director of Student Activities and coordinator of the University Center, and dean of students. Schonberger said, "I look forward to continue working closely with students and my colleagues in Student Affairs, while expanding my interaction with and support of other divisions within the University." Rochon said, "Barry Schonberger has worked with USI students throughout his professional career, and he is aware of student interests and needs and continues to be a strong student advocate. In this new role, Mr. Schonberger will continue to provide USI with strong campus leadership. Please join me in congratulating and thanking Mr. Deem for all he has done to assist in making our campus one of great academic distinction." |
