Get connected: USI Continuing Education offers social networking course

Barnett & Associates, Inc., the course will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday, November 4 at Innovation Pointe located at 318 Main Street in downtown Evansville. Social networking allows businesses to build relationships through people to whom they are connected. When used effectively, it can enable you to leverage the power of your own networks and those of your customers, friends, and other community contacts. Participants will discover how to use free Internet forums Facebook and LinkedIn to their full potential. Learn how to build awareness and support for your organization, basic etiquette, and explore ways to use these tools to effectively network and market yourself and your organization. Participants should set up a Facebook and LinkedIn page prior to the class meeting. Registration is $49 and includes materials.
