Acts included illusionists, comedians, singers, and dancers. The following is a list of this year's winners. Hatch Dad Dee (Sammy Eversole and Matthew Hatcher) - (Rap Group) Theatrical Interpretation: Monologues, Stand-Up, Dialogues, etc. 1st Place - Untitled by The Vessel (Tamera Glasco) (Sign Language) 2nd Place - Get Funny or Die Tryin' by Gavin Eddings (Stand-Up Comedy) 3rd Place - Devil Sticks by Zach Watson This year's judges were Kathy Jones, advisor in Student Development Programs, DeWayne Walton, a transfer student at USI and a member of "Designed by Grace," USI's gospel choir, Samoa Hempfling, interim vice president of the USI Black Alumni Society, Marty Ransford, former Live at the Apollo participant and nontraditional student at USI, and Rebecca Glover, trauma coding data analyst for Deaconess Hospital and a USI supporter. |
