USI's radio station, The Edge, earns two top honors at national conference

College radio stations from around the nation competed in 11 categories. "The Edge" had finalists in three categories, winning Best Promo, produced by Mick Joest, and Best Public Service Announcement, produced by Matt Meeler. The Best Public Service Announcement award marked the second consecutive year The Edge has taken the top honor in the category. The Edge morning announcing team of Eric Bushard and Jarrod Jones, Big Easy and Jones, were finalists in the Best DJ category. The Edge can be heard on WSWI-AM 820, WPSR 90.7 FM-HD2, 820theedge.com and on the smartphone Radiolicious application.
