Deadline for Adult Learner and Epi-Hab Scholarships is December 10

Brandi Schwartz Marketing Coordinator Outreach & Engagement 812/464-1854 An applicant must be working on their first undergraduate degree and be at least 25 years of age to qualify for the Adult Learner Scholarship. Winners of the scholarships will receive up to $2,000 for tuition, fees, books, and other USI expenses. Applicants must be a current USI student and should complete an Adult Learner Scholarship application, compose an essay, provide a letter of recommendation, and complete an electronic FAFSA and USI Financial Aid Data form. Graduate and undergraduate students who are enrolled in a minimum of three semester hours at USI, have completed at USI, or have had accepted for transfer to USI, a minimum of 12 semester hours, and have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 (undergraduate) or 3.0 (graduate), are invited to apply for the 2011 Epi-Hab Scholarship. The scholarship will award $1,000 to one student from each of USI's five colleges and one student from the University Division/Bachelor of General Studies program for tuition, books, or living expenses. To apply, students should complete an Epi-Hab Scholarship application, compose an essay, and provide two letters of recommendation.
