USI Nearby offers spring classes off campus

Brandi Schwartz Marketing Coordinator Outreach & Engagement 812/464-1854 Instructed by USI faculty, USI Nearby courses meet one night a week or on Saturdays. Most of the offerings meet University Core Curriculum requirements, which help students make significant progress toward educational requirements and a degree. Graduate-level courses offered at Innovation Pointe provide a convenient location for students who work in downtown Evansville. USI will offer BIOL 251: Environmental Conservation, CHEM 103: Molecules, Matter, & Me, DCSI 351: Intro to Operations Research, HIST 102: US Since 1865, HUM 212: Western Tradition in the Humanities II, MATH 111: College Algebra, PHIL 201: Intro to Ethics, and PSY 322: Abnormal Psychology at the National Guard Armory, 3300 E. Division Street. PSY 201: Intro to Psychology will be offered at Castle High School, 3344 State Road 261 in Newburgh, Indiana. Master level courses COMM 603: Quantitative Research Methods in Communications and SOCW 608: Advanced Social Work Skills, will be offered at Innovation Pointe located at 318 Main Street in downtown Evansville. Current and returning students may enroll in spring classes through MyUSI. Students who are new to USI may register during open registration Friday, January 7 with classes beginning on Monday, January 10.
