Brandi Schwartz Marketing Coordinator Outreach & Engagement 812/464-1854 Beginning Conversational Japanese Participants will learn basic conversational Japanese that will help them feel more at ease when traveling or encountering Japanese speakers in business and social situations. The course will cover basic conversational skills and phrases, customs, traditions, and protocols. The course will meet at USI in the Robert D. Orr Center for six Thursdays beginning February 24 from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. No class will be held on March 10. Registration is $115 and includes materials. Beginning Conversational German This course will cover basic German vocabulary and expressions with an emphasis on basic conversational skills and phrases useful for travelers. German geography and culture will also be covered. The course will meet at Innovation Pointe located at 318 Main Street in downtown Evansville for six Thursdays beginning on February 24 from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Registration is $124 and includes materials. Beginning Conversational Russian Learn basic conversational Russian and feel more at ease when you travel. Emphasis will be on building vocabulary. Russian culture and customs will also be covered. The course will meet at the National Guard Armory located at 3300 E. Division Street in Evansville for six Tuesdays beginning on February 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. No class will be held on March 8.
